Error on my new OP

Just received my new silver dial Oyster Perpetual. After the excitement of getting it out the FedEx box and putting it on my wrist, I noticed the double stick marker at the 3 o’clock position is at the 4 position. Would you send this back to Rolex to fix or leave as is?

Either you have a fake, or something that is going to be worth a ton of money

Yeah... I'm leaning toward the former

If it was poorly mis-stamped dial text, like was saw the other day, I'd send it back, but this one is more interesting, and I'd probably keep it.

Very interesting. Assuming this is genuine, I’d keep it.

I would not send it back. Its something that does happen from time to time but not often. That dial is a collectors dream

Same way as these two, I guess. The Black Bay bronze was even sent out as a roadshow demo model in 2016.

Wow, I would love to collect these kinds of mistake, it's very unique.

For OP, I would keep it if it's from boutiques/ADs.

For the love of God keep it. But still I can't believe this passed qc. Like seriously they must be working insanely hard.

OP, it's impossible to say if it'll be "worth a ton of money" as some commented. Do you find it interesting and quirky, or annoying and bothersome?

I wouldn’t say “bothers” me, but that is definitely right where I look when I look at it. I am positive it is from An AD. Thanks for the opinions so far

I’m confused. Did you buy this from an AD or not? Did you go grey?

You said “Your positive it’s from a AD.” Where was it purchased from? I personally wouldn’t wear that.

I dislike the double indices enough, then this? Terrible, I would send it back, I don’t care how “rare” the mistake makes it.

That certainly would bother me, regardless if it were to become a collector's dream.

I agree with the board - if you are comfortable it is genuine, it's a keeper.

I concur with the majority of the comments, if it's genuine... DEFINITELY keep it. And if you don't want to keep it, give me a call LOL

It would drive me crazy but if it does not bother you, return it or post for sale if it is actually worth more than retail.
