Bathyscaphe Bracelet
I wore my sailcloth strap in the pool last year and it didn’t react very well at all. Earlier this year I saw the steel bracelet and thought it would work well on the Bathyscaphe. It turns the watch into a daily wearer for me.
Bracelet arrived this week, very pleased with it albeit they are not cheap. Clasp is great even though there is no micro adjust. You do get half links though. Height of the clasp is not a problem at all, you almost don’t know it’s there. Very airy bracelet which is useful in summer. All good. Love it and the Blancpain will now get a lot more wrist time. Looks like a big and hefty bracelet to be honest. No taper either.
Amazed that the cloth bracelet isn't up to the task. We're talking about Blancpain, I thought they had the diving know-how. |

Its a big and hefty watch so goes with the territory. Agree about the Sailcloth, a few others on here have had the same problem.

Looks good but I think the band is reversed length wise - you should be able to read the the logo as it faces you.

Unequivocally one of the best looking, minimalist diving watches- looks fantastic, even with the upside down bracelet.
My sailcloths were a bit crap too, seems to be something with add a textile upper to a rubberized or leather backer- My IWC pilot straps cracked in the same way- Now I just use $12 Natos....
