I saw that earlier today.
It's a ghastly situation we find ourselves in.
That's my take on it anyway

Saw this. I will wait and see. Really no issues with the watches because they are what they are. The hype, not for me.

I think we will see a "bioceramic" bracelet - just having a new case or new dial colours would be too boring

A gold plated, or just gold colored metal moonswatch with the panda dial. That's my guess.

I managed to pick one up whilst on a work trip in Rome. Had some time to kill. You need to go in the morning. It’s nuts… all the scalpers are there super early! Got there ~20min early and was 8th in line.

At the end of the day.. it’s a plastic watch but it has its appeal.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the second hand is glorious... the rest of the watch is disposable plastic crap though.

Yea, the Swatch Group can't help themselves. They continue to bring down the Omega reputation for the almighty dollar. Very sad to see IMHO

Omega Moonwatch sales are surging!

Swatch and Omega are owned by the same company...synergy works.

I'll have to second that.

While I'm not impressed by the MoonSwatch "Moonshine" [Limited] Edition, there's no denying that the MoonSwatch was a brillant move by the Swatch Group.
I don't really see it as damaging to Omega's Rep - on the contrary, it produces more interest in the Moonwatch and its history.

Twenty-five years ago, when Swatches were all I could really afford, I would have gone nuts over the MoonSwatch

The MoonSwatch really focuses demand on the real one.

While I have always planned on getting one, it is definitely moving up on my list...if I don't get the call for the Batman by next month, it is likely I will pull the trigger on the sapphire sandwich...

In the meantime, the search for Mercury and Neptune continues...

I like that the Swatch group has something for every price range. As a collector, I had to have one, and finally snagged a Mission to the Moon. We will be seeing that new one on eBay at ridiculous prices. I won’t bite, though.
