One needs to go, which one?
Hello all ,
I know it’s ultimately my decision, but still like to see what everyone think. IF one has to go, which one would you let go out of these 3 ? And Why? 114060 No date Submariner 126710 BLNR Batgirl 116660 Dblue Thank you!

If the 116660 is too big for your wrist, that would be my first choice. It’s less practical than the others. I just traded mine away 2 weeks ago for those reasons. The other 2 would be keepers for me due to size and versatility.

116660. That was a easy one for me. The ND Sub is just classic, And I'm not a " Huge" fan of Rolex anymore, But the Bat girl I think one of the best looking watches from Rolex in a long LONG while. Simply stunning in person. And I'm picky!

I would smoke the DBlue. The Sub and GMT are a Mr Wrestling 1 & 2 pair.

Love all three but if you absolutely had to let one go - the DB
Sub is iconic - probably the most iconic watch there is Batgirl GMT - any GMT is so desirable and still hard to get - definite keeper imo DB - love it too but prob the one to go among these three (still a hugely tough choice) - with the sub you still have a diver's watch |

I kinda think that if I let go the sub, it might be easier to get back in the future? also in the 41mm, what do you think?

I think logically the DSSD needs to go…. However I’m a bit irrational. I think the DSSD is too cool so I would drop the Submariner

DBlue for me too, but if you think the Sub is the one to let go then that's cool.

Even, though the sub is iconic I think it's plain and one of the most common rolex around, I'll let that go

DBlue and that’s coming from a bigger guy with larger arms and wrists; the others are just a better size. I traded mine for a ND Sub for this exact reason.

D blue has a cool dial but too big and thick. Sub and GMT is perfect duo.

I had the BLNR + jubilee and sub no date. They were too similar for me. Only have the sub date LN now. If I was you would only keep either the BLNR or sell them all and get the sub date LN. It’s all you need.

Curious as to how often you actually wear the DB - and in what situations etc? If you are wearing it a fair amount, close to the others, then you might keep it. But for me, a 44mm solid chunk is of limited use (I get close to that with either my 116610LN or 124060 sub).

Everyone must be small wristed here. Since I have the wrist size, my D-blue is one of my strong go toos. I would have a hard time giving it up.
If you follow the masses and I suppose the "Rolex" mainstream, then the senses would be to pass the D-blue out. |

It's a two fold for me. Yes, the D-blue is a Submariner on steroids but the blue dial enhances the watch to such a uniqueness. If you truly have the size wrist and stature to wear that watch then keep it. If you are pushing the envelope and it looks somewhat silly then sell and keep the Submariner.
For me, I'm keeping the D-blue. The Submariner can always be had in the future. |
