7+ inch wrist: Post your DayDate 36mm pics

If anyone has pics of a DayDate 36mm on a wrist size of 7” and up, I’d love to see them.

I just tried this 36mm one on. And I’ve had the platinum wave dial, which is also 36mm.

I’ve owned the 40mm, and while it fits fine, I find it not the style I want for this type of watch.

Don't confuse "Tony Soprano," the character, with James Gandolfini, the actor.

James Gandolfini wore a 40mm Submariner Date, which was reported stolen.

Thx, this isn’t the one I’m looking at, but it’s definitely a good looking watch.

It's personal preference, so go with the one you love to see on your wrist.

From your first picture, I think it looks too small but a lots of people love 36mm, they think it's classic.

Appreciate that, and agree - I will always go with my heart. I’m sold on the 36mm for me over the 40mm. With that said, I agree the distance shot may look a little small, but not too small for my liking.

I also like the 36mm because you see more of the bracelet when looking down on the watch, and not just the watch head. The presidential bracelet is such an integral and good looking part of the watch and wearing experience.

I’d go 36mm for my next DD in YG with white or champagne dial. The 40 was cool for the PT as a sportier setup, but 36 looks better with fluted and in colored metal. Looks great on you!

100% right on having more of the bracelet show and less being about the watch head.

I personally think the DayDate looks best at 36 regardless of wrist size

A dream watch for me is the 18238 in the configuration below. Love the brushed lug tops.

I’m not sure if it’s real or in my head, but I feel like the newest DD36 (128238) wears smaller than the 118238 or 5-digit models. It didn’t look bad on my wrist in pics, but it felt small when I looked down at it, and I ended up going with the DD40.

The fluted bezel on the current one is very flashy and this might be the reason the watch feels smaller? Also, the date and the day are on a white background instead of a goldish one. Plus the polished lug tops.

All fantastic examples. The 36mm is perfectly proportioned, and it really suits all wrists.
