Warranty Service Recommended?

Hello TRF'ers!

I have a Yacht-Master 116622 with a warranty date of 10/30/2015 so the five year warranty runs out this fall. I have worn the watch nearly constantly since purchase without a hiccup. Unfortunately, last week it stopped running (I noticed when it was approx 2 hours behind and stopped). I manually wound it, actuated the crown in all three positions, and even shook it like a Polaroid picture to mechanically wind it with no effect. I laid it aside for two days when I noticed that it was running again. Since then it's kept perfect time.

Should I send it in for a warranty service or wait to see if it stops again? I fear sending them the watch and getting a 'nothing wrong here' response.

Thank you sincerely for the benefit of your advice on this.

Regards,

Scott
