To Datejust Or Not To Datejust...

Hey guys, fairly new here, but been lurking for a while. I’ve got a date ceramic sub, and have the itch for another Rolex. For some reason I keep going back to a classic Datejust. I’m totally blue collar, work in tee shirts, sweat shirts, and rarely even wear a collar. I know the Datejust is billed as a very versatile watch, but I think I have a different idea of versatile then the people writing those reviews. To them, dressing down is a button up and a sweater. To me it’s tee shirt and jeans. I know I’m being overly broad here, but my dilemma is that I don’t want to drop 7k on a watch that I love, but doesn’t work for me day to day. I should just get it because I like it. And who cares what it goes with or doesn’t go with. I just can’t stand the thought of the watch ending up sitting in a box. Maybe I’m over thinking this and a Datejust is actually a great sports watch for everyday casual wear. I’d be looking at the 36mm with silver or white dial, classic stick indices. Thanks guys!
