Early Rolex watch box

So I bought this today at an estate sale.
I have never seen this particular box.

It appears that it was made to stand up and display the watch in the jewelers case.
Notice if you open the box fully, the Rolex text is upside down.

My understanding was that the owner bought this in Europe during WWII.

So, I am assuming this went with a Bubbleback watch.
If anyone knows otherwise, please feel free to share.

According to the seller, the wife traded the watch for an Accutron. I believe in the early 60's, when the cost was about the same as a Rolex.
