Tudor GMT running out of power
My BB GMT seems to be running out of power. I had been wearing it in rotation with my DJ41 and the power reserve had always been great. Well, until now.
This week finds me on a business trip to Spain. Waking up after the first night at the hotel, noticed that the watch was stopped at 06:30. I couldn't remember just how many turns I had given the crown or on which day exactly because of wearing it on and off...So I made sure I gave it 40+ turns, set the time and never thought much of it until now, two days after the 1st hiccup, 22:20 and it's again stopped Time keeping is spot on while it runs. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is not another typical fault of the GMT, right? Anyway, I'm sending it in as soon as I get back. I'll call my AD to let the RSC know I'll be paying them a visit for the 3rd time with this one... Fingers crossed this is also going to be covered under (the extended) warranty (purchased 07/2019) . I'm curious what's wrong with it but I guess I'll never learn or if I did, it will be because I'll eventually had to foot the bill |
