Regarding scratches on Everose Oyster bracelet
Originally, I was in the market for a blue 36mm DJ with jubilee and fluted bezel, but the AD had this beauty as a fresh new arrival.
I did have this exact Wimbledon DJ 41 in TT in mind as a purchase in the future. It just ended up being a great coincidence. Now... I absolutely love the RG TT Oyster bracelet but now.... my concern is: scratches ![]() Don't get me wrong, I'm not scared of scratches, I plan to wear the hell out of it and scratches on a watch are a fact of life. Now what I do care about, is if the TT oyster bracelet loses it's contrast due to the scratches. The reason why I love this watch is due to the contrast, and that exact color combination, which make it so beautiful in my mind. Will the RG lose it's depth? or will it still retain a strong degree of shine after even 5 years and being full of scratches? I'd like to picture myself the Oyster bracelet 5 years from now, and see how altered the colors are. Any picture would be welcome, including how long it has been worn and frequency... SS, YG, all combinations would be interesting to see. Show the world your beaten up Oyster bracelets! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
