Hello from Vancouver, BC! Rolex Explorer 124270

Hello!

I've been lurking for here for awhile but recently picked up my first Rolex. I was originally searching for a nice untouched Rolex Explorer 14270 but an opportunity came across to pick up a 124270 and I couldn't resist!

I've started getting into watches when my dad gave me his old Seiko 6139-6005 "Pogue" from 1975. I got it serviced and swapped out the crystal for a NOS one and that was my gateway drug!

I also have an IWC Mark XII from the 1990's incoming and I'm looking forward to that as well! Other watches that I'm hunting for are a Datejust 160x/16030, and possibly an Explorer 2 16570. I'd really like to try one on before I commit because of my smaller wrist size.
