My new vintage - Rolex 1665



I just wanted to show you my new acquisition, a 1980 Sea-Dweller ref 1665 :


I ve bought this piece this week end.
The watch has never been ppolished and gets a very interesting patina.
The dial is light tropical, and changes color from black to chocolate or havana.
The index are "mustard", and give a lot of charm.
We can see on this picture below the color of the dial :


Now it s time for the versus 1665/16600.

here for the comparation with the 16600 :


(the bracelet is a 93150 with 585 end links)

This watch is really fat, a fat case, a bigger plexi (here a service one), and a bigger bezel than the 16600 :
