Paul Newman Daytona Original Center Second Hand

I have been studying Paul Newman Daytonas and there were many valuable informations that I found online. However, I couldn't get information on color of original center second hand (chronograph hand).

Especially for 6263 Paul Newman Pandas (white dial), I found center second hand with either black or silver color. Is there a general rule of original color of center second hand?
(For example, black is the original color and silver is service replacement hand?)

Below is an example of 6263 PN white dial with black center second hand.

Thanks for your information!
