Help identifying Seiko watch

Hi everyone, I'm new to this world so am looking for help with a "gold" watch that anyone I have spoken to about this has said "is weird". I have a Seiko watch that was owned by an uncle of mine from the USA. He passed away about almost 30 years ago now so the watch is at least that old.
My father always talked about my uncle's "gold watch". I took a bunch of watches to the jeweler's the other day to get batteries and the jeweler did the acid test and said it was 14 carat gold, which is what the hallmark says, though the mark is 14 KGD.

Someone suggested it might be aluminum and gold-filled. I can't find any similar images of the watch anywhere, so hopefully somebody will be able to help me with some more information and an estimate of its value.

Thanks so much in advance.
