I have a sub date bought this year with an almost identical dent caused whilst scuba diving.
To me, it just means the watch is loved and is being used exactly as was intended. When I hand that watch down to whoever, I would rather the recipient see it and think “wow. Look at the adventures this has been through and the stories it could tell!” Rather than it looking like a shiny museum piece. Life is short; enjoy your watch as it was intended. |
