Do all Rolexes tick at the same volume?

Now, I know rolexes don't tick like traditional clocks, but you can hear their very faint movement when holding them up to your ear.

in complete silence while holding up my Day Date about 1 foot away from my head, I can hear its faint movement. But with my Datejust at the same distance, I don't hear it, and I have to bring it closer to my head.

For those of you with multiple pieces, do you hear their movements from the same distance or does it always vary?
