Micro scratches on new 2 tone Explorer

I recently got the call for a 2 tone explorer. Upon taking a look at the watch where there were no stickers, there were micro-scratches on the yellow gold of the bracelet and micro-scratches on the bezel. Is this common for yellow gold in general for new watches?

The SA did show me another 2 tone explorer the very same day and the second watch had the same problem. I have other rolex time pieces that are stainless steel and I don't recall seeing any micro-scratches at all. Am I just being really picky here or something is up?
