Incoming! Celebration dial OP41

On release last year, I loved it. No mulling it over or it growing on me. I just really liked the juxtaposition of Rolex being seen as conservative and then releasing the puzzle dial and the celebration dial.

Back in the real world, I knew the puzzle dial was out of reach so requested the celebration 41. I was steered towards the 36 but stuck to my guns and was patient.

Come W&W this year and had given up hope. Then a glimmer happened when it wasn’t discontinued. When I did enquire for an update, the feedback was that they’d seen 2 ever. I wasn’t in the running sadly.

Then out of nowhere I got the call from the wonderful sales advisor that I work with and collection day was yesterday.

Will it be a two year run like the first batch of coloured/stella modern OP’s? I think that’s most likely now.

This one is a collector watch for me so I’ll wear it sparingly but will wear it.
