Better Daily Wear: 1680 / 16800 / 16750
Hello TRF,
I would like to get some actual owners' experience as to which of the 3 would be best for daily wear. I have dipped my toes in the vintage water before, but I've been "content" (bored) by the current Rolex offering, I would like to have a near-vintage model for daily wear. Which would you say is the best daily wear? 1680 / 16800 / 16750? I don't mean desk diving only - but the occassional dish washing and swimming. Of course the watch will be pressure tested and have parts replaced first. I believe 16800 would be best because it has the sapphire crystal and the fast beat (potentially more robust movement) with Rolex more inclined to service it. However, I would like to go older with a 1680 if I can get away with it on a daily basis. Please let me know what you think. |
