New Addition On My Red 1680

Hey all,

Something I would like to share.

I been keeping an eye out for over a year for a new insert to put on my sub..

The one that was on my sub was just too black for my taste and there was a small ding in the insert that always bothered my perfectionist senses.

I kept my eye out for the right MK3 Fat Font insert, I wanted period correct for my watches manufacture date, I studied font's to know exactly what to look for.

I knew I wanted the insert to be faded, but not too faded. Finally by chance, I came across "The One"..

It was a slightly faded MK3 that was very minty, no dents and no major scratches.. Very clean and beautiful. The charcoal grey hue to it was just right for me and the fading is very even and still has a high gloss shine to it, which are all great signs that this insert has a natural fade and has not been enhanced by human hands.. It's not jet black and its not overly faded, It's Just right for me.

Here are some before and after pics.
