Automatic problem/rotor problem?

Evening folks

Just to share a story of my friend issue who just bought a ROO last week. So he suspected that the watch have an issue. Here is the case: when the watch turn off, no matter how many times he shake to watch, after 1-2 minutes the watch will stop, but then he give a winding about 40 times, the watch can last about 48 hours. Can some expert here give an explanataion why is it like that?

Moreover when he wear the watch, if its around 48 hours the watch will stop. It means there is a problem with the movement as normally as long as we wear an automatic watch, after we gave full wound it wont stop until we dont wear it for several days.

Need your help to explain this. Thanks
