I'm Back
Had to change my user name from Shore Guy to ShoreGuy because of a new iPad, now with camera, with a different email address making it impossible at least for me to retain my old forum name.
Let me enter this as my first post with the revised name. There is frequent reference in the Forum to white gold being used for the hands, batons, as well as numerals (eg 369 on Exp). Has Rolex ever stated that white gold is what is being used? Are there any metallurgists in the forum who can comment on whether there are alloys which would work as well or better and be more cost effective, ie cheaper? |
