Now is a good time to buy vintage
The question that is on everyone’s lips is whether now is a good time to buy a Rolex. After all, we don’t know if we are in a bubble that will burst as soon as supply and demand stabilize — or if being on a waiting list for months hoping to pay full retail is the new discount. I think the times have seldom been riskier to buy a new steel sports Rolex as we don't know where the market is going.
In my latest writing I argue that if you’re going to pay full price at your AD for a new Rolex, there’s a much less risky proposition for roughly the same amount of money: Now is the perfect time to look at discontinued models — before it’s too late. http://www.rolexmagazine.com/2018/05...ge-market.html Am I wrong?
