Rolex 3075 parts help
I was asked to look at a GMT2 Cal. 3075 as it had stopped running just two weeks after reputable Swiss company serviced it for £475. After two weeks it had stopped and why the customer did not take it back is strange. However when I opened the watch I was shocked to see the damage and dirt. This was in my opinion a watch that has never been cleaned and subjected to very poor workmanship. The Rotor was loose and fell onto my bench with the bearing attached to the rotor arbour and the retaining clip on the wrong d side of the bearing.. I have not been able to source a new bridge or jewel so I have secured the old jewel with loctite but I am not happy with this bodge. The customer will pay so cost is not an issue but where do I source the parts or do I just tell the customer to take it back.
I have downloaded an image but can not find how to attach |
