If I want to work on my Rolex, then let me!

Ugh… why are jewelers such pains in the rear?

I know it is not common, actually very uncommon, for Rolex owners to work on their own watches. But we don’t need to be treated like children by jewelers who scold you for doing basic maintenance. If I want to work on my watch, I have every right to screw it up if I please too, not that I have yet. If I want to play with my $X,XXX dollar toy then I will. Why do they think it is rocket science to change a bezel insert? So my message to them is, “Just go back to selling me the parts like you use to, Mr. Jeweler!”

Rant over….. Feeling better now….

Thanks for listening.
