I’ve always dug the aesthetic, but I tend to stay away from 44mm-plus these days, so I had never tried on any of the Panerai models until very recently. The 1950s case is definitely my speed.

I like the brushed stainless steel on the 973 and it’s a relatively svelte 13.22mm thick. Extremely comfortable on the wrist.

Love the strap, but I’m looking forward to throwing it on some different NATOs and whatnot. Fun watch!
