Need some guidance on next pick
I figured I’d reach out here and see what some of you guys thought or might help me narrow down my next choice.
Currently in my collection is my 1601 Datejust. Silver dial. Two tone. On leather, no bracelet. 116618 YG Submariner LN. I love them both. The yellow gold sub was the recent addition. I’ve had five Rolex watches so far. The three that are no longer in the collection are: 16600 Sea Dweller, 116710LN GMT Master, and a 1803 YG DD. The 16600 was my first, liked the watch but didn’t love the bracelet. Thick case back. Poor lume and the smaller hands/dial markers. 116710 was a two year love. Just didn’t need or utilize the GMT function at all. 1803 was just a fun vintage wear. I really think 3-4 watches is my max, I enjoy being able to rotate through them within a week. I would also consider moving the 1601 DJ into something else. I’ve attached a list of what I think I have got my choices narrowed down to. I’m curious to hear the thoughts of the TRF hive. |

I’d vote Explorer 2 white dial. Frankly I’d go older and get a 40MM rather than the 42 as I think it’s a better fitting watch. After that I’d for for the sub as a daily beater.

16610LN, though you might be over that since you've owned the SD.

Based on what you own and those choices, I'd take
1. Explorer II white dial 2. 214270 |
