Look out !
Use the police only ! Lateral measures might sound nice but could get you into trouble too.

Late to the thread...
TTG - Sorry about your situation. You are a better man than me, that's for sure! Sending out merchandise first shows you have a LOT more faith in people than I ever will...
But you sound kinda defeated in some recent posts. I hope that you're not such a nice guy to just let this go unresolved - and not in your favor. In any case, best of luck - many are (still) pulling for you!!! |

Has the hounds been released? Don't want to wait too long as the watch may have changed hands.

Just talked to this Brian and he denies ever buying anything from anyone on line. I have close friends in Dallas and Phoenix in law enforcement that can get to the bottom of this. Whatever information you want on this person, I have access to.

Probably a good idea to PM TimeToGo, let him know if you already haven't. Dave.

I've seen such threads on other BB (car forums mainly) where the power and varied 'expertise' of the many members available enabled a positive conclusion.
Some were completed behind the scenes, but a few others were resolved with the simple hounding and harassment received from emails, calls, written mail to multiple contact addresses including family names and even workplaces that can be mass mailed to ensure the right end is reached. Lowlife scumbags such as this sometimes deserve a calculated and proportionate response. I'm not saying this type of answer would be helpful here, but I'm surprised this hasn't been closed off yet. |

Why don't you sue him ?
If you sent him a watch and he didn't send you the cash, it is a steal. I assume that you have some evidence showing that you sent him the watch (a parcel sent with an insurance covering the value of the watch) |

I think this one has run its course.
Any further discussion is really just stirring the pot. The forum does not get involved in buyer/seller disputes. As suggested, it may be best to take this matter further via legal avenues. Good Luck. Thread Closed
