I personally won't touch any modern model that does not have rehaut. Not to sound pompous, but I have yet to see a replica with accurate rehaut; wearing a rehaut model stops the "hey you're wearing a fake" claim. |

Just got my 1st 14060m on the 20th October 2011 new from UK AD. It is lovely and feels great on the wrist. Tempted to not take off the seals, just because my AD (who plays golf with people from rolex) said it has stopped production now.
But will definitely use it. Rather not buy them just to keep in safe. |

There is something great about the 14060m. I think it is just classy, light on the wrist, and a classic. What more do you want? Not into too flashy things really.
Will it be my last rolex - now way! Already thinking about 16610LV (old LV sub). |

I'm wearing mine this month, too! ![]() You guys should post pictures of your new watches, especially with the 14060m, since there are some (very slight) dial variations in circulation. |

Two years ago, I decided to get the Submariner...which I'd wanted for years. My preference was for the ND, but, at the time, the AD only had the Date model. I figured, what the hell...and knew the date would be a practical feature. I've loved that watch....
All the same, every time I see the ND, I get wistful. Only people here could possibly understand that, I suppose. A couple of weeks ago, I saw the ND at an AD, but talked myself out of it. So...I read this thread--again--and gave into temptation. I went into the AD...and the ND was gone. Sold, no doubt, to some kindred soul. Good for him. He who hesitates, and all that. With little optimism, I asked the AD if they could get another... Yes! My new 16040M COSC should arrive at the AD sometime next week... Hey, thanks to this forum, I actually know the reference number! |

Lew, if you're in SoCal, I know a few ADs that have them, should anything go wrong with your current deal.
Loved you in _The Drowning Pool_, by the way! |

Glad to see there are other Ross MacDonald fans out there!! The Drowning Pool is one of my favorite Archer novels....the movie wasn't bad, either. And Newman was a Rolex guy, after all... |

I'm a huge Ross MacDonald fan. Read 'em all. He is heir to Hammett and Chandler. No one else comes close.
![]() If you have a good AD, PM me. I'm always looking for one. |

After hours of deliberation, I bite the bullet and went to local AD to get my Sub ND. It has such as classic look and is a wonderful watch. I think in a couple of years, this model will also be revised. I would get one and hold on to it forever.
Included some pics to help other rolex fans. Enjoy. |

New Non Date Sub
Just joined this site tonight. Long story short, always had Tag Heurs, now turning the big 50. Local dealer is taking in a black non date stainless Submariner for me to look at tomorrow. I really like the look of this piece. Should the newest one be the best one? Also heard they might change it to the Ceramic soon......your thoughts?
