I wrote a review after a few months of ownership. My comments still stand, and there’s comparison there with my other watches (AP RO, PP Aquanaut, Lange 1). Any more questions, feel free to ask.

A really great review!
I commented at the time that reading it would end up costing me money…and so it has!

Well after a near 4 month holiday in Switzerland, service, I received mine back today. I did have the bracelet fully brushed and it is definitely more muted. Still have to get it sized as I have a heck of a time doing their bracelet.
I’ll get back on later on to report on the service and it’s success.

Nice watches. I would get one if it was available at 20% or more under MSRP for sure.

What was wrong with the watch?

Did you decide this back in July or later? Because they are all sold out, right?

Just saw this pop up on IG. I’ve been following Czapek for a little while now. I wonder if this is the one that makes me pull the trigger… I imagine it will be a white dial but curious to see how it will be different from their usual white dial Antartique.

Anybody have the white rubber strap? Would love to see it in pics with the Passage de Drake in real life photos.

The new Monochrome limited edition is announced today. The dial seems a bit boring though. I'm sure it'll still sell like hotcakes though. Any interest TRF peeps?

The texture of the dial can better be seen here. I like it.

I have a vintage Grand Seiko with a similar texture and in the flesh it looks amazing. It’s what you want from a dial - subtle fascination.

Only 33 which is annoying. Also dislike the white rubber would have preferred a blue or orange.

Wonder if it can be collected in Europe.

I feel it looks great! Subtle elegance. Like how you can choose red hand or standard.

Agreed, for fun it needs an orange strap too... and black.

The presence of Automatique does a lot for the dial.

I didn’t notice how different it was to the Terre Adelie until you mentioned it. Superficially, the dials are very similar, however mine says ‘Chronometre’ instead of ‘Automatique’, and ‘Swiss Made’ instead of ‘Fabrique en Suisse’.

I was on line at 6am my time to pull the trigger but it came up a bit meh. Its a beautiful dial but nothing much else special about at. I also just got the green last week one so had I not I'd probably have bought this one. Its still a beautiful watch no doubt and guaranteed it'll sell out quickly, which makes me happy to see the brand being so well received. Czapek deserves it, they had the guts to jump into the deep end of the pool

I would love to but it arrived via ups yesterday at my house and I am away on business until the 22nd. I had my father in law receive it and would rather he not open the box. I can definitely share some pics when I get home and unbox it :) Im curious too how it will look in person.
