I got one. Going to try it on in NYC but I like the 42mm size. I need a beater.

I can't help but think how remarkable that a knockoff off the 5524 which everyone hated seems to suddenly be so popular. Is it the quick buck to be made, the stainless steel or an acceptance that maybe PP haven't destroyed the DNA and actually doing quite a good job on bringing new models to the market to fit gaps in their already wide range???

5524 is still different than 5522 since they both are hard to come by, but 5522 has very limited #s available.

I suspect it's mainly a function of price for many. As in, some buyers like me are comfortable and for others it's a drop in the bucket.

I think the 5524 is incredibly limited as well, they are produced in very low quantities and will continue to be an incredibly desirable piece for many years to come.

I liked the 5524 as well but I thought it was too expensive.

So now that I'm going to get the 5522 (if I want) do I still get the 5524? That was going to be my daily wear. Or save 25k and get this one and skip the 5524 and put the money saved towards my trail of 5270?
Or get this and 5524? Dang - first world problems. |

I'd say get both since they're quiet different and while 5522 has simple look, but 5524 has some nice details to it.

I just saw the video clip....with its larger size that lower semi circle of the dial does seem to have quite a big void.... |
