Got the 024 - love it, it's awsome. The 243 is the more expensive, deeper-rated version (1000M) and is a big chunk of metal. I think with the historic case, the 243 is the one that some want.
I have heard from several people that have owned them that they sit very high and is a little less versatile than the 024. Can't go wrong with either probably but I only have experience with the 024, pictured below:
