A New record! World’s most expensive watch

https://www.google.com.tr/amp/s/www....h-auction/amp/

1st: 31 million $ - PP SS Grandmaster Chime 2019

2nd :17.7 million $ - Paul Newman Rolex Daytona 2017

So Rolex lost the world record

Wow, that’s one complicated piece!

Glad to see the proceeds go to a worthy cause.

I wonder who the buyer was ...

That watch makes more sense in being #1 most expensive.

nothing wrong with SS, but if you were going to make a one-off watch, why not platinum or gold?

Because I bid $15k...but don't feel bad, they didn't take my bid either :-). $31 million certainly is a lot of loot - and it's not even a Nautilus :-).

They made a watch for auction.

I'm pretty sure one half of the bidders were Pateks own guys.
