Trade ROO 26470 Safari toward Pre Owned PP RG World Timer?

Guys,

Got this offer from my trusted dealer, to trade my ROO 26479 Safari towards Pre Owned minty PP Rose Gold World Timer (6 years old)....They offer USD 14.9k for my Safari so USD 17k out of pocket....

What do you think Guys?

Should I pull the trigger?

Regards

Offshores are a novelty IMO. They are fun, but get old real quick. The WT can last you a lifetime. Enjoy!

Big difference in price, type of watch etc so not exactly a straight trade.
WT does nothing for me but if that’s what you want then go for it.

I personally would not do such a trade. I like the offshores more and more as I wear it and think it represents AP much better as an iconic piece than the Royal Oak, despite the royal oak being the original made by Genta.

World time is nice, but I can't help feel it is a bit overvalued and the design of the normal non enamel dial a bit lacklustre.

WT are idiosyncratic in the sense that some absolutely love them and for others they do nothing. I would like to see a photo to refresh my mental picture, but I tend to like the look of WTs in general.

And then you have to factor in is the AP a daily and does it fit your wrist? Because the Patek is a whole nother look and feel. Definitely try on the WT before making a decision.

Yes in a heartbeat, no idea if the numbers make sense but for me a ROO is simply too large. 5130R is a great piece.

Patek makes the prettiest world timers but the time is wrong 50% of the year for half the world :(
