Help on 16750 dial
I'm thinking of buying this dial for my Rolex GMT 16750 9mil. series. Is this dial okay or is it for the 16700?

Yes, that dial will fit a 16750.

That is some serious patina. Make sure your hands are somewhat close or it will look imbalanced...

Nice dial, and nice patina.
Based on the dial coronet, it would be a late production dial for the GMT 16750 or early 16700. You will also find this style of dial coronet on the later GMT II 16760 "Fat Lady" and early GMT II 16710.

Nice-looking patina for sure, but what about all of the spotting/corrosion, especially around the edge of the dial and around the date window? There seems to be some elsewhere too, and some scratches. Maybe I'm too picky.

As far as the original question goes, the OP's concern was whether the dial was correct for his watch - which, in my opinion, it is.

Thank you very much for your help. The price seems to me quite good, also considering the conditions. It is also true that I should find a suitable set of hands, I hadn't thought of it.

I think that's a 16700 dial. It has both the signs of what I labelled as a Mark II 16700 dial. Look at the O in Oyster too.

Yes, it would fit, but wouldn't you rather pay a little more for a dial in better condition? (Rhetorical question, and just my 2 cents.) Good luck either way! |

Yes it is, and 16750 too from the 9 million serial era.

Thanks again for the infos and suggestions. The dial all in all I might like. The seller accepts offers. Maybe I'll think to send one...

You need to worry about finding matching hands....easier said than done with that much patina
