Purchased mine last week. Love it thus far and just ordered a few extra straps from AP to change the look.

I'd like to see that one with a grey ceramic bezel.

Its a gorgeous piece and one of my favorite watches, period. If you can get a decent deal on one, buy it!

Had one and really liked it but traded in for a RG44 which is a step up but costs a fair amount extra.
Have a look for when it was last serviced as it could well be due one and servicing is not cheap. Also the rubber after a while does get shiny which does impact the looks a bit. Finally the deployant clasp is very uncomfortable for me so I switched to a diver strap with tang buckle.

Agree with this, it was my first AP love, remember dribbling over one in Selfridges back when I didn't even have a Sub, but now I'd want the more modern detailing of the 44 but the RGRC is still a classic piece.

I assume you are referring to this one? It’s phenomenal and I preferred this over the pink gold dial version. I also tend to prefer 42 over the 44 for ROO.

That is a blockbuster piece. Absolutely amazing. Surprisingly, I actually prefer the look of this piece on the grey croc strap (though nothing replaces the feel of the RG bracelet)
