1989 Rolex DJ how many winds for the seconds hand to start?

I know this might be the stupidest question but I'm curious.
My DJ sometimes requires 20 winds for the seconds hands to start and
sometimes 20+ even 30 to start working after a dead stop.
My Seiko Sarb033 requires only 5 full 360 degrees to start working but I don't understand why my DJ needs 20/30 winds for it to start. Can someone explain to me what happens and why it doesn't sometimes start with minimum winds?
I know there are threads regarding this issue but I didn't find on a DJ.

Thank's

There is no answer to your question.

The watch will begin ticking when sufficient torque exists in the geartrain to overcome any inherent friction or mechanical binding that is present. If the geartrain is fully lubricated and free of any binding, the pallet fork tail will have sufficient enough push to begin ticking quickly.

Other times there will be some physical binding somewhere in the system that a small tap or shake will be needed to free it all up.

There is no magic in the action, only physics.

My DJ41 takes more than that to start running.

My 18 month old EXP II takes at least 20 half turns to get started. It also requires full activity to go through 24-30 hours. If I am very lazy one day, it may not be running the next morning. On the other hand, my 5513 will start running with just a couple waves of my hand. I never have to touch the watch for many weeks.

If seconds hand stops then you worry.

Thank sir for a detailed answer, That why the winding numbers are random every time? Also If I wind it around let's say ... 15 times and obviously mine isn't going to start, Then I Tap or gently swirl the watch and it starts working.
My Question is, will it still stop shortly because of the 15 turns or it will still run it's course?
