Rolex and the Coronavirus

I’ve owned my 116600 (Rolex SD4K) since 2014.

Not interested in capital gain or investment. I wear it and own it because it’s a watch and it’s a part of me. Just to be clear.

However, I have noticed the price on Chrono24 has shot up in the last few days. Very markedly. Over £500. I track it regularly just for my own amusement but it’s clear prices have increased since the virus at least on that site and for that watch.

Has anyone else noticed this trend? Seems quite coincidental if it isn’t due to the global financial panic.

Interested in views. To be clear this isn’t an investment thread - it’s just an observation!

Good health
