Will RSC replace a bracelet? Anybody here ever have it done?

RSC and “service” bracelet
During interval service they will recommend bracelet replacement if the bracelet is not up to their standards.
When I was called during my service, I had the option to; A - keep keep as is B - keep old bracelet and purchase a service bracelet at full price C - Purchase a service bracelet at a reduced price and RSC keeps the old bracelet |

Yes RSC can sell a new bracelet, it can only be the bracelet for your watch specifically.
Although not cheap, they remain cheaper than what you can find on the market. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Of course they will. And if your bracelet is on the verge of breakage they will likely require it. But there are multiple companies now that can rebuild and restore a worn out bracelet saving the customer considerable money. The YG Oyster bracelet on my 116618 is about a 15K replacement proposition.

Just bought a jubilee for my 16710 back in March from RSC Dallas while the watch was in for service. They sent back the oyster as-is (but I had to request this in writing). Paid $1150 for the jubilee.

I had a new bracelet fitted last year on my seadweller at a cost of £1025, but sold my original one for £925 on ebay. So a result.

They deemed my bracelet unsafe, and only offered an option to purchase new at over $12k. YG DayDate 18078. I did not take them up on it.

Were you given the option to keep the original oyster and buy the jubilee as well? I'm trying to get an estimate of how much RSC would charge for a jubilee without returning my oyster.

If they didn't, then who would?

Michael Young......he did an amazing job on my bracelet.
With that said, I purchased a NATO strap to use while my bracelet was being serviced by Michael. I liked the NATO so much that I haven't put the bracelet back on the watch, he restored it three years ago. |

I had sent in 16750 without the bracelet for service and they offered the 78790A bracelet for $1350 USD. I bought it as I'll keep this watch for a long time and doesn’t hurt to have an extra.

After he got down from his high horse, I politely thanked him for showing me the various PM Datejusts and myraid of open displays and walked out. Ben Bridge in Honolulu. You're welcome. |
