Zenith Big Pilot Type 20 Bronze

Although I have never tried a Zenith - I am seriously getting to like this watch.

I am looking for a bronze watch right now, and the with looks of the Patek 5524, El Primero movement - what is not to like ??

Any Zenith Type 20 Big Pilot bronze owners here ??

I owned a Type 20 GMT at one point, very cool watch that you have to love to buy, hard to wear obviously due to big size so I sold it, then I regret it and bought it again but eventually sold it again :)

Also they have Elite movements, not El Primero which is (mostly) for the Chronographs

Thanks for that. Yeah I should have said that the Chrono has the El Primero which is what I am looking at - bronze case, black or green dial and green oily strap. Just growing on me. When I can actually get out the house to a jewllers thats open - I'll try one.

It’s not bronze, but the IWC big pilot is the big pilot to own. There can only be one! That said the Zenith is also quite distinctive in person.

They also have a very wearable 40mm version!

Correct, I was in my bigger is better phase then and learned the hard way it wasn't too practical. I learned I don't reach for and wear watches that aren't comfortable or too big. I did and still do love the Zenith pilot though in the larger iteration.
