Rolex Submariner 16610 Did it ever come with??
Did the 16610 Submariner ever come with a Folding Flip clasp? Or did it only come with the stamped clasp that was also used on the Explorer II? I was offered the opportunity to purchase a 5 digit Sub with the Folding clasp for $5500. Thanks y'all!

Don't know what you are saying...
The Sub and Sub Date have had the clasp lock lever for decades, well before the Exp II used one. The Exp II was also available with the Sub type extension bracelet (93150) with locking clasp. All of the clasps were stamped on the 5 digit models of both.

Sorry, I guess I didnt ask that correctly. I was wondering if the 5 digit Sub ever came with a smooth folding clasp instead of the stamped clasp that you usually see. Thank you that answers my question!

The words are confusing. A photo or two will make everything clear.

The fliplock clasp, o diver extention was part of the 16610 series and SD (the stamped clasp and the fliplock or diver extension hidden inside the clasp). Now is only found in the SD43 SS and DSSD. The 16610 have only stamped clasp.

I think he means the 7836/0 clasp. And, no, it didn't.

That's the one Vincent! Thank you very much, this now makes me think the whole bracelet was swapped out at some point. Are there any hallmarks on either the 16800 or 7836/0 bracelets?
