It is either service or aftermarket. My guts say 2nd option but I do not know enough to be sure.

It shouldn’t be on that watch. It’s not a Rolex gilt / matte dial insert.

More pictures, straight on, and you will more likely get accurate answers. Sometimes angled pictures distort the image slightly. Nice looking dial... |

I see what you mean. Was just trying to give the OP advice since the responses were kind of mixed. For me, I noticed the 30 is not straight, in a way, when compared to the edge of the bezel.
