Like lots of other guys, a GShock.

It offers so many useful complications and mine is atomic/solar. It’s more accurate than I’ll ever need and I imagine the rechargeable battery will last 20 years.

Light and comfortable, too.

Have a great G-Shock and a Shinola Brakeman, but in automatics, it’s this one. Breitling Transocean first issued when they re-launched the line back in 2010. Not day/date, just date and more reminiscent of the original Transocean. Very simple, but beautiful design.

My Victorinox INOX quartz is supremely well engineered. Have seen a watch at its price point with that kind of bracelet, and how it fits without any hint of gap between the lugs. Rubber strap is excellent also. Haven't seen the positive threading of the crown on watches that cost way above it.

Whenever knocking about with my kids, which lately is every day, I’ll mainly wear an old G-Shock (I also like its countdown timer for setting 25-minute study chunks); less often, a Seiko turtle (SRP779); and very occasionally, like yesterday, this thrashed, but recently serviced, Citizen. (Er, apologies for the misaligned bezel in shot.)

The first two arguably do punch above their weight, but the Citizen is just something I like because a friend gave it to me after he wore it for a couple of decades, and I perversely like how beat it is. Equally strange perhaps is how, after staring at the high beat sweep of my Air-King for several months, I now also appreciate the tick-tocking of this cheerfully cheap quartz.

Please don’t now run me out of TRF-Town. I thought this thread was a safe space!

Damasko DA44 black.
Perfect sizing, tough, drilled lugs, rotating bezel.

I'm a big fan of mine.....7 years going strong running +1 a day. Also have a U1000s, 158, 103, and a U1. Sinn makes a fantastic watch! Been enjoying a Damasko DC82 and a Guinand Starfighter. Love German tool watches! I think Guinand is the best value out there right now. Every watch named tells time well within COSC minus the Damasko (no seconds hand).

My modded Turtle. Completely customizable and runs +2spd.

Sinn 757 UTC. Tons of features and technology in a no nonsense tool watch.

My battered Speedy Reduced doesn’t really fit in too well, but it’s a watch I really really like!

It’s not a watch appreciated by the aficionados. It’s got a terrible movement which is hard to service and results in the chrono pushers not being aligned to the crown on the side of the case. It’s not the real moon watch so it can’t claim any glory there.

But...it fits me better than the Professional, I prefer the dial layout, and I like the idiosyncratic pushers. And I like that others don’t like it!

Thanks. I’m pretty happy with it. In fairness though, it’s not that big and it’s composed of things that are not necessarily the popular preference (Lange and VCs rather than Pateks and APs).
