The 455 endlinks were used on older DJ model 16033, the 455B were used on the DJ 16233 from around 1989 on. There is no difference in shape for any DJ watches from this period, so 455 or 455B will fit, but always better to get the right period one for that serial age watch which Rolex will fit. And there is no S on the end-link if replaced, AND WOULD NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IF IT WAS..
