Silver 100%

If your getting black get the one with the black sunburst and baguettes. That dial looks awesome.

I prefer the black with YG, but there is no bad choice here.

This^^^. I had the silver and it quickly went out the door to be replaced by the champagne roman and white roman DD's.

Of the two choices I would go with the silver as it is more versatile and the deconstructed roman numerals are very modern. I gravitate toward black dial watches and I have to be careful not to end up with a watch box with only black dial watches. I own a YG DD II with the black roman dial and sourced a champagne roman dial and swapped it out. I kept the black and may switch it back at some point. So a dial swap is an option down the road. I also would not get hung up on whose name is one the card as long as the condition is right and the watch is complete. The $1500 difference might not seem like a lot but over the years of collecting this adds up. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Depends on your age

I find the silver dial isnt easy to read and as you get older it will only get worse

Silver, black only with baguettes if that's your thing.

Each has a very different look. I had the silver with romans and returned it for Sundust with sticks and lume.

If you plan to wear daily or regularly with casual or formal, I’d go black. If mainly just for dressy or special occasions, silver.

Regardless, as others have stated go with the one that sings to or you eye keeps going back. Good luck.

Black dial, I’m not a fan of Romans and I love the lume. Also in general I think dark dials look best with YG watches

Was going to also say white with romans or black with sticks... Not that I have either, but either of those are grail worthy (black more sporty though)

I’ve been eyeballing that black motif dial a bit of late. It’s really striking. Unless you’ve got too many black-dialed watches in your collection, that’d be the direction I’d go.

Its a very tough choice but I think I would go with the black stick as I like lume. Both are very nice and you cannot go wrong with either.

I'd probably go with silver. I don't like roman numerals on the 36 but love it on the 40. I really like the silver motif.

I like the silver and was very close to pulling the trigger on a preowned one. Made a deal on champagne and very happy with this one.

This is what I went with, I have always loved the classic black with stick markers and I want lume as well. The motif dial is a bonus!

Deconstructed Romans. Just something special about it.
