Enamel dials thread

Hi all, I got my first enamel dial watch recently - the 5116G. I really do now appreciate the art of enamelling and I feel it is very special to own one.

The dial is so glossy with depth/texture and almost wet like in the light.

Please feel free to share yours - it is very difficult to capture enamel dials but lets give it a go!

Enamel dials are difficult to photograph. I love mine.

It is funny that the Patek says Email at the bottom. I think it is French for enamel. At first, I thought they were going head to head with the Apple Watch.

Nice 5116! From a 5119 owner. Miss the hobnail! Can it make a comeback on a new watch? Or too dated. I like it.

Thanks - I think it will make a comeback wither this year or next with a new movement for a larger case! It is timeless and will never be dated

Agreed. Often white dial is the easy one to capture so you and others have done a great job showing the depth to the coloured enamel dials. Which brand is the watch as I am not familiar with it? It is a lovely piece.

Its called Lundis Bleus. I bought the watch in 2017 when they only offered the blue enamel, they have since added other colors to their lineup.
