37mm Royal Oak for men

Hello,

After I see the Royal Oak extra thin tourbillion rose gold on rose gold, I fall in love with like the rose gold on rose gold Royal Oak so much.

As the extra thin tourbillion is too expensive and it is limited, so I try to find another rose gold on rose gold RO. There is only the 15451 rose gold dial with the diamond bezel.

I am okay with the diamond bezel. But I want to know, will the 37mm case fit my wrist? I have a 7”/18cm wrist. I am afraid that 37mm case would be too small for my wrist.

Thank you.

And here is the photo of Royal Oak 15451OR.ZZ.1256OR.03.

For reference - I have a 6.5” wrist. I felt the 37mm RO was too small for me. The 38mm sits square, but the 39mm will be perfect.

This will be too small on your wrist I’m afraid (my opinion of course).

It depends upon what you prefer, of course, but I'm with the previous comments in that it will (for me at least) be much too small.

Royal Oak size big so 37mm will size more like a 39mm.
But a 7”/18cm wrist is no small...
But the only way to be sure is to try it! I wouldn't buy a watch without trying it.

I have 6.4" wrist, when I wear my 37mm, I feel it's too small. I prefer my 41mm (15500OR) over 37mm.

A lot of people have your wrist size and wear Rolex Day-Date 36mm and they like it.

Try it on, if you really like it, go for it. I am sure most people here will say it's too small.

Check the price on grey, if you buy it from ADs, ask for good discount on this model.

Actually I like the 41mm more than the 37mm. But only 37mm has the rose gold dial, so I am thinking to get a 37mm rose gold dial. Also, I check the price on grey, seems the price on grey is cheaper than AD.

Yes, I think the 36mm Day Date is nice. But for Royal Oak, I think it looks more sporty, therefore 37mm might be too small.

Audemars Piguet calls the 37mm Royal Oak is a ladies watch. I’m afraid that it would be embarrassing.

Travis Scott wore the Royal Oak Openworked Rainbow before which is a 37mm Royal Oak and I don’t think it is too small for him. What do you guys think?

It all comes down to personal taste I believe, and for me every watch is different.
I have a Cartier Santos medium (no date) which is about 36/35.xx.

I want to get a DD 36mm one day.
My wrist size is about 6.5. And I have no issue with DD 36 or Santos no date which both measure under 37mm.

But yes I had a 15450 blue 37mm which I feel is too small. Not lug to lug, but the face dial I just felt too small so I didn't keep it to myself after all.

To me, a RO is a "sport" watch which I would love to wear it slightly bigger i.e. 39mm I think is the perfect size.
A sub I would want to be a 40mm too

So I am not a one size guy.

Watches are unisex, if the size fit you good, who care?

The only problem you will have with this 37mm size is the length of the bracelet.

If your wrist is bigger than 6.6", you will need to add some more additional links, it will cost you some more money. Make sure that you try at the boutique first before you buy it.

I have a 6.25inch wrist and wearing the 37mm. I did try on the 41mm but it was too big for me.

It took awhile for me to get used to the 37mm but I'm loving it!

I have your wrist size and am considering the 15450. I’ve heard comments that from a distance the dial looks too small and/or the bracelet appears to taper too much at the clasp. Any thoughts on your end?

I have a 6.5” wrist and have tried on the 37 and 38mm RO’s and in my opinion both of them are too small. I actually like the 39mm the best but unfortunately that only comes in the jumbo.

I alternate this with my Rolex 40mm and yes it's a little on the small side. U should try it on at the boutique to see how u really feel about it

Perfect fit!

Silver makes it look Cool and sporty. Good that you didn't go with the herd mentality and went bigger.

Watch size is a state of mind. I have a 7.25" inch wrist, and have worn everything from a 47MM PAM to a 34MM AirKing, and everything in between. If you like it, wear it.

If a 37mm SS Royal Oak is sitting alone on a table, no man is going to look at it and say, “ooh, a ladies watch”.

But put it on your wrist, and it may play differently. It’s really a personal call.

On the other hand, if a gold Royal Oak with a diamond bezel is sitting on a table by itself, a lot of men would say it’s a ladies watch, or too feminine for them. But you are okay with diamonds. Or frosted gold.

Which is fine. You should really buy what you like. Most of us won’t agree with you on what is or isn’t too feminine.

And AP doesn’t definitively call the 37mm a ladies watch. They are definitely marketed and sold to men for men as well as to women for women, so they are Unisex.

But you may find an SA or maybe a store or region that pushes men to larger watches, especially men with 7”+ wrists.

Me too. I have a 6.4 wrist, probably abit bigger if im continously hitting the gym but still its not the biggest of wrist size. And the 37mm looks way too small and girly. I think you would have to look at the lead up to the forearm and the 41mm looks much better for me than the 37mm

39mm would be perfect i reckon

Totally agree with this. I have a 6.4 - 6.5 and 37mm is just way too small and girl. 39mm would have been perfect.

41mm is ok for me, as i have a more athletic build, so i think the forearm does play a part in how the watch size looks
