I'll be damned. Is the proof 127.2? I picked up a bottle of that same vintage about a year ago. Glad to hear it's that enjoyable.

Got this great bottle from a buddy who's DD I serviced

Definitely a great dram, it starts very fruity and the pinot noir comes through, then comes the peat and smoke. One of the nicest Islay whiskies I've had so far.

Negative but as a fan or port wine and bourbon I want to try it. Let me know how it compares to the standard ruby port finish. Higher proof should give it some more kick.

I was just wondering what to drink next. Thanks for the push. The natural light can with wings is probably my greatest accomplishment of the day.

I was very surprised how much I liked it to be honest. I suggest you get one and give it a try, I bet you will enjoy it as well.

I have one that I will open on my birthday this October. Based on your tasting notes, I’m excited. Cheers!

All of a sudden it can be found here in metro Milwaukee. The price crept up to $130. Its good juice but getting too expensive.
Enjoy, cheers!

If anyone interested - Amazon UK selling bottles of Tamnavulin malt for £17 a bottle

Needless to say - bought a few at that price

It's a good one. I visited them on my bourbon trail tour last year. Their whiskey aged in rum casks is also fantastic. The nose and flavor is a very powerful brown sugar sweetness.
