Red Sub 1680

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-R...0/283991231256

Check this, look at the state of the case back, looks like somebody has tried to open it with a chisel.
I wonder what it will sell for?

The caseback is not the problem.

Wow. I’m surprised by even the current price given the condition of the dial.

Butchered caseback, missing bezel/insert. It's been Marlon Brando'ed.

It upsets me as I have a near pristine 1973/4 3.6M serial number Red Sub that had a white Mk 2 face fitted thus devaluing the watch greatly.
If only........ :-(
