Period correct insert for 5513 Non Serif from 1975

Hi! Hope you are all doing well. I have a special question for you. I went to a watchmaker someone recommended to me to change some parts of my 5513 from 75 and he damaged my bezel ... I am looking for a period correct insert and an other watchmaker found the following one (on the watch). The one removed is the damaged one.

Do you guys believe it is period correct ?

The new insert on the watch seems to have a bolder font. And less serif.

Would really appreciate your support.

Best,

MA

The second insert looms like a long 5 insert....worth more than your current one but probably too early for your watch if you want correctness...looks like someone screwed up the hole for the pip on the first insert also....

Why dont you just reuse your original insert and ask your watchmaker for some compensation ( or a free or reduced service)?

You are looking for a MK3 insert. That’s period correct. I have these two for sale

The first you showed has a suspect hole for pearl. To big. Looks like Saphire pearl. The other is a long5 and not correct for you.

I am freaked by the vision of a damaged bezel. Ahah and the watchmaker did pay for the new insert.

After some research I concluded the same regarding the type. It is a long 5 and probably too early. and yes the watchmaker dug a hole to put a newer tritium lume ...
